We’re thrilled to note that spring has finally arrived, bringing with it longer days and, perhaps most importantly, a break in the continuous rain. The paddock is now starting to show signs of life, with vibrant greenery sprouting up and our first seasonal cut recently completed. Moving forward, we plan to maintain regular cuts in the lower areas while allowing the top sections to grow longer, providing ample space for our furry friends to explore and for plants to thrive and seed.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who has played a part in keeping the paddock clean and enjoyable for all. Your efforts in clearing dog waste have been noticed and are deeply appreciated by us and our valued customers. The additional bin and poop bags provided in the shelter have proven to be invaluable resources, and we’re especially grateful to those generous individuals who go above and beyond by even picking up after other dogs. Your dedication is truly remarkable and does not go unnoticed.

While our canine exploratorium is still in the early stages of development, progress has been hampered by the recent wet weather, which made outdoor work challenging. With the arrival of drier conditions, we are excited to refocus our efforts on enhancing this space. Expect to see the introduction of topsoil, logs, chipped bark, and other exciting features designed to delight our four-legged visitors. Please let us have your thoughts and ideas as to how we can enhance this space. booking@ashdownpaddock.uk

We look forward to welcoming you and your furry companions to the paddock soon!

Yours
Christian & Helen
