We’ve been busy making some great improvements at Ashdown Dog Paddock, and we can’t wait for you to enjoy them.

First up, if you’re arriving via the lay-by on the main road, you’ll spot a brand-new gate that actually closes properly! This is a big win for safety, helping to stop stray horses or loose dogs from wandering onto the road. However be careful, there are still a few gaps in the fence, so please keep your dog on a lead until you’re safely inside the dog paddock.

At the paddock, we’ve also added a pedestrian gate right next to the main one. No more wrestling with the heavy gate every time you come and go – just pop through the smaller one instead. The combination lock is still the same, so you won’t need to learn a new code.

And here’s the best bit – we’ve built some sturdy steps over the park pale mound that cuts through the middle of the paddock. No more scrambling or awkward climbs – now it’s easy to cross over and explore the other side.

We hope these changes make your visits to the paddock even better. Come along, take a look, and let us know what you think. Happy dog walking!
