It was Finnley’s 4th birthday yesterday and we had such fun at Ashdown Paddock. Finnley is a Lurcher we adopted from Battersea when he was about 9 months old. We soon found out that he has a lot of energy and loves to go on a chase. Unfortunately he has injured himself on barbed wire so many times that the vet suggested he stay on his long lead. This has meant that we don’t let him off the lead much, unless perhaps at a beach. So you can image his, and our joy, to be able to let him of in such a large safe space as the paddock. He tears around the paddock until he is quite exhausted!
