To add to the experience of our canine friends, we have introduced an exciting addition to the repertoire: six high spec weaving poles.
But what exactly are weaving poles, and why are they such a valuable asset in the realm of dog training?
Weaving poles, also known as weave poles or slalom poles, are a staple in agility training for dogs. Consisting of a series of upright poles spaced apart, they present a challenging obstacle course that encourages dogs to navigate through them with precision and agility. This exercise not only tests a dog’s physical dexterity but also enhances their mental acuity and responsiveness to commands.
By engaging in activities like weaving through poles, dogs not only improve their agility and coordination but also boost their confidence and strengthen the bond with their owners. Furthermore, the mental stimulation provided by such exercises can help alleviate boredom and prevent behavioral issues in our beloved companions.
An innovative safety feature is that the poles are designed with the well-being of both dogs and handlers in mind. Each pole is equipped with a spring at the base, ensuring that they give way upon impact.
