A new addition to Ashdown Paddock: a library for sticks for our canine friends to use and owners to return. The idea was inspired by a stick library we saw whilst on holiday abroad and we thought “that would be a nice addition for the paddock”. So I searched through the pile of off-cuts and built a little house for sticks.
The library offers sticks of various sizes and hardness to delight the user. We will also be adding synthetic sticks for those who are not keen on dogs chewing wood.
You are very welcome to take a stick to entertain your canine friends. Please return it after use for someone else to enjoy.
We also understand that some owners would prefer to bring their own sticks rather than use ones which other dogs have used. No all that different to a book library.
